The 17th International Symposium on Fibre and Polymer Research, hosted by the Department of Polymer Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Yalova University, will take place on 15–16 May 2026.
This year, the symposium will be organised around the theme of “Performance Fibres and Polymers in a Changing Environmental, Economic and Political Context”.
The symposium is open to undergraduate (with a special free session for TÜBİTAK 2209 project students), postgraduate and doctoral students, as well as all academics, and will accept papers covering a wide range of topics related to fibre and polymer science. Topics such as performance fibres and polymers, material development, sustainability, environmental impacts, industrial applications and innovative technologies will be addressed within both theoretical and applied research frameworks.
