Organised in cooperation with Yalova University and the Provincial Directorate of İŞKUR, İŞKUR Youth Programme Lottery Drawing was held at Mehmet Okul Congress and Culture Center. As a result of the draw, 530 students have got the opportunity to work part-time at our university.

Speaking at the programme, Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya congratulated all the students who applied and said
‘Your interest in this programme is very valuable for us. It is of great importance for the success of this programme that our students meet business life during their education.’
Erhan Dede, Provincial Director of İŞKUR, wished success to all participants, saying
‘We are trying to offer all employment opportunities to our young people.’
Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı emphasised that students will have the opportunity to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical experience thanks to the İŞKUR Youth Programme. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı pointed out that the election process was carried out in a transparent and fair manner in the presence of a notary public and used the following statements:
‘This innovative initiative, which contributes to the professional and personal development of our students at the intersection of academic discipline and practical experience, offers an important opportunity for them to take firm steps towards the future.’
Transparent Drawing of Lots Was Held
After the opening speeches, lots were drawn before a notary public. The students participating in the programme expressed their satisfaction with the fairness of the process and stated that the part-time working experience will provide them important gains.
This meaningful cooperation will continue to contribute to both the academic development of students and their preparation for the business world.
