On Monday, 3 November 2025, an online meeting was held, chaired by Rector Prof. Mehmet Bahçekapılı. Participants included Prof. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, Vice-Rector for Quality, members of the University Quality Commission, and members of the YÖKAK evaluation team.
During the meeting, a presentation was made to the evaluation team on Yalova University's quality assurance system, internal control processes, and Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) applications. In addition, the University Information Management System (UIMS) used by the institution was introduced to the evaluation team.
The meeting concluded with a discussion between the Evaluation Team and Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı. During the discussion, the details of the upcoming site visit programme were discussed and planning for the process was finalised.
The online preliminary visit was considered an important preparatory stage ahead of the site visit scheduled for November.
