President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the collective opening ceremony of mosques completed within the National Defence University via live link. As part of the opening, a mosque with a capacity of 725 people, built at the Naval Petty Officer College in Altınova, Yalova, was also opened with prayers.
During his speech at the ceremony, Erdoğan said, “We have added a total of nine new mosques to our Prophet’s seedbed. May they be beneficial to all of Yalova and our military personnel.”
The opening ceremony in Yalova was attended by Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, members of the Naval Forces Command, provincial protocol and military students. Protocol members cut the ribbon in front of the mosque and performed a prayer to mark the opening.
At the ceremony, which President Erdoğan attended via live link from Istanbul, the delegation in Yalova offered a collective prayer after the opening.
