The 7th International Business Students Congress (ICOBS 2025), organised by the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Yalova University, commenced with an opening ceremony held at the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main theme of this year's congress, which will take place on 19–20 December, is ‘Digital Transformation’. The event brought together numerous local and international students and academics.
The opening speeches were delivered by our Vice-Rector Prof. Taner Tatar and Head of the Department of Business Administration Prof. Selami Özcan.
Prof. Tatar emphasised that digitalisation is a necessity, while Prof. Özcan stated that the congress offers students an important opportunity for academic sharing and networking.
The keynote speaker of the conference, Prof. Martin Sewell, participated online from the UK and delivered his presentation titled ‘Rethinking Business Management in the Digital Age.’
During the two-day conference, students will present their academic work focused on digital transformation.
